LDCM-A – Ashland, Phoenix, Talent

LDCM-C – Prospect, Butte Falls, Shady Cove, Gold Hill, Eagle Point, White City, Central Point, Jacksonville, Ruch, Applegate

 Qualifications: A solid period of sobriety. Have the time and energy to serve the district well.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Generally as described in the AA Service Manual (under Alt. DCM).
  • Recommended completion of a GSR term.
  • Perform duties of DCM in DCM’s absence.
  • Attend quarterly Oregon Area assemblies.
  • Assist GSRs when needed at group meetings.
  • Visit with groups within their sub-district and make announcements when necessary.
  • Assist DCM and other LDCM with updating District roster.
  • Submit a digital / written report monthly at District meetings.
  • Assists GSRs and the DCM when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Treasurer and Alt Treasurer – 2 year Service Position

**FILLED**

 Qualifications: A solid period of sobriety. Organized with good record keeping experience is useful.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Must attend District meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
  • Submit a digital / written Treasurer’s report each month.
  • Collect and Deposit 7th Tradition money sent in to PO Box.
  • Is a signer on the checking account along with the Alt Treasurer.
  • Accounts and is responsible for the money that is collected and paid out.
  • Pays the bills and distributes checks from the checking account in a timely manner.
  • Sends by mail the receipt, and a thank you note to the treasurer of each meeting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

It is strongly recommended that all Service Positions should become acquainted with these two sources of information during the course of their tenure.

Term of office: For those elected or appointed is two years and the rotating in members duties and responsibilities begin with the start of new business on the agenda for the November District meeting.
