**Open Officer Positions**

These Two Sub-Districts are in need of Service in Action

LDCM – D

(Local District Committee Member)

District 16 – Sub-District – D
Central Point, White City, Eagle Point, Shady Cove, Butte Falls, Gold Hill, Prospect

Qualifications:

• A solid period of sobriety
• Have the time and energy to serve the district well

Duties and responsibilities:

• Generally as described in the AA Service Manual (under Alt. DCM)
• Recommended completion of a GSR term or Committee Chair position
• Attend and report at monthly District meetings about events in their Sub-District
• Provide mentorship to GSR to help the GSR navigate their service position
• Coordinate with DCM for the development and implementation of GSR driven workshops, sessions or school
• Participate in Pre and Post Assembly Sharing Session 
• Perform duties of DCM in DCM’s absence
• Assist DCM as needed
• Attend quarterly Oregon Area Assemblies
• Visit with groups within their sub-district and make announcements when necessary
• Assist DCM with updating District roster
